Portsmouth Residents Invited to Share Positive Police Stories for New Community Documentary

PORTSMOUTH —9/17/25 SoHo Creative Studio is producing a short, documentary-style film that spotlights community policing in Portsmouth through real resident experiences. The project centers on unscripted, human stories from people who’ve had a positive interaction with local officers.

Residents can share a story and, if they choose, participate in a short on-camera interview at Stories can be small or profound: a moment of kindness, a helpful welfare check, or a steady presence during a tough day.

“So much of what builds trust are the quiet, everyday interactions,” said Producer Michael Cinquino of SoHo Creative Studio. “We want to honor those moments and the people behind them.”
