Access Sports Medicine, Exeter Area YMCA to Host Pickleball Injury Prevention Seminar
EXETER — Access Sports Medicine and the Exeter Area YMCA are excited to co-host a Pickleball Injury Prevention seminar designed for pickleball enthusiasts of all skill levels. Join us on Tuesday, Jan. 14, from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. at the Exeter Area YMCA Community Center at 56 Linden St., Exeter.
Led by Chris Wheeler, PA-C, of Access Sports Medicine, the seminar will explore the most common pickleball injuries, effective treatment options, and practical strategies for injury prevention. Whether participants are seasoned players or new to the sport, they will gain valuable insights into the causes of pickleball injuries, treatment options for common injuries, and prevention techniques, including proper warm-up routines, technique adjustments, and conditioning exercises.
“Pickleball is a fantastic sport for staying active, but like any activity, it comes with injury risks if not approached with proper preparation,” said Chris Wheeler, PA-C, at Access Sports Medicine. “Our goal with this seminar is to educate players on how to protect themselves and stay in the game they love.”
