Cornerstone VNA Selected as Nonprofit Beneficiary for September at The Fabulous Find

Cornerstone VNA is honored to be selected as one of three nonprofit beneficiaries for September at The Fabulous Find, a boutique-style resale shop located at 139 State Rd. (Route One) in Kittery, Maine. Throughout the month, a portion of proceeds from sales will benefit Cornerstone VNA, the Brick Store Museum, and the Child Advocacy Center (CACRC).
 
The Fabulous Find is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization listed under A Caring Community. Since opening in July 2010, the beautifully merchandised boutique-style resale shop has become a strong community partner, working with different worthy local nonprofit organizations each month. All profits are donated to the organizations selected by The Fabulous Find Board.
 
With tremendous support from the community, The Fabulous Find has awarded more than $3.75 million in grants to more than 150 local nonprofits over the past 14 years. Its low overhead allows more of its proceeds to go directly back into the community.

The Fabulous Find has been a longtime champion of Cornerstone VNA, generously supporting its programs three times over the past decade. This September, community members can help increase the impact of that support by both shopping at the boutique and donating quality items.
 
Because The Fabulous Find’s monthly grant is based on its sales, the more the community shops, the larger the check for that month’s nonprofit beneficiaries. Supporters can make an even greater difference by donating their nicer, gently used items and encouraging family, friends, and neighbors to shop or donate as well.
 
For more than a century, Cornerstone VNA has been committed to providing compassionate, expert care to people of all ages, regardless of their ability to pay. Its team helps individuals and families navigate the challenges of aging, recovery, chronic or life-threatening illness, and end-of-life care, while supporting their ability to remain together at home.
 
Community support plays an important role in making this care possible. Donations help Cornerstone VNA provide programs and services that meet patients where they are, including telehealth, specialized lymphedema and palliative care, community-based programs, and financial assistance for individuals who may otherwise be unable to access the care they need.
 
Funds raised through The Fabulous Find’s September beneficiary program will support Cornerstone VNA’s overall charitable mission, allowing resources to be directed to programs, services, and areas of greatest need.
