Description
This workshop will be led by Jay Mariacher of Mariacher Shearing Services, a full-service shearer who works with fiber-producing livestock across the East Coast, and Theresa Walker of Great Bay Wool Works at Liberty Hall Farm. Participants will enjoy a live shearing demonstration at Liberty Hall Farm, where Jay will walk through how to prepare for shearing day and what to expect. Dillon Brady of Wool N Root in Goffstown, NH will also be joining us to discuss how to make wool pellets and how they can be used to improve soils. If you’re looking to refine your approach with your flock or gain a deeper appreciation for fiber agriculture, this workshop will offer practical insights and hands-on learning from experienced producers. This is a FREE event. However, registration is required. We hope to see you there! Bringing a friend? Complete a new form for them as well!
