Description
Please join us for this month's Power Biz Hour with a presentation from Sheehan Phinney Bass & Green on the topic of human resources and artificial intelligence.
HR meet AI; AI meet HR
Long before ChatGPT, companies used artificial intelligence for recruitment, hiring, and employee management. Now that AI has hit the mainstream, regulatory agencies, like the EEOC, are publishing guidelines to rein in the technology and prevent what has been called the “new discrimination frontier.” Join Brian Bouchard, an attorney at Sheehan Phinney in Portsmouth, for an in-depth discussion on how businesses can effectively and legally leverage this burgeoning technology.
About the Presenter: Working in restaurants throughout high school, college, and law school taught Brian one unforgettable lesson: client service is job one. Since joining Sheehan Phinney in 2013, that mantra has been a driving force behind Brian’s legal practice. Today, as a litigator focused on labor and employment, land use, and construction issues, Brian is driven by client service and seeks to offer practical, business focused guidance to the legal questions his clients raise. In the Labor and Employment field particularly, Brian counsels and represents companies through all manner of complexities, from claims involving discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour violations to questions involving employee management, executive contracts, employee mobility, and legal compliance. Brian has written and lectured on legal topics throughout the Granite State and New England, and he is never unimpressed by the complex issues facing employers, businesses, and individuals on a daily basis.
