Description
Free festival of maritime music and song (it's not just about sea chanteys!) taking place all around downtown Portsmouth in casual indoor/outdoor performance spaces. Check out website for more information about our performers, many of whom are very well-known in the maritime music community. Lots of opportunities to sing along on the chorus! The grand finale of the festival is the Chantey Blast, a rollicking “all hands in” public sing in Market Square at 5:15 p.m. Sunday, with each of the weekend’s performers leading a song.
