Family Evening: Stargazing
Saturday, June 13, 9pm
Join the Portsmouth Historical Society and the New Hampshire Astronomical Society for a night of stargazing on the lawn on the John Paul Jones House. Try out telescopes from Astronomical Society volunteers, take a closer look at the Portsmouth skies, and imagine how it felt for people throughout time to look up at those same stars! All ages welcome!
Please note, this event starts much later than our usual programming! We need to wait for the summer sun to set to have a good look at the sky. In the event of poor weather, our rain date is June 27th.
