Early Innovations, explores changes in domestic technology in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and is offered on Wednesday, June 28 from 5:30-6:45 p.m. at Rundlet-May House, 364 Middle Street. The tour explores areas of the 1807 mansion not normally open to the public, such as the basement and service ell. See a progression of modern conveniences including a Rumford roaster and broiler, a privy with wallpaper, a 1930s bathroom, and early central heating system.
