DESCRIPTION:3 Walker Contemporary is thrilled to announce our first exhibition "Remember\, the world is beautiful" by Rose Umerlik\, on view through December 2025. Umerlik is a celebrated painter whose abstract work uses graphite mark making\, layers of colored stains\, and opacity to explore the depths of human relationships\, culture\, and emotion. A BFA graduate of Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts\, Umerlik has exhibited widely\, with 18 solo shows across New England and numerous group exhibitions nationally and internationally. Her paintings emerge from weeks of meticulous panel preparation\, evolving into "stories" through moments of recognition when forms\, lines\, and colors evoke the essence of love\, fear\, hope\, and connection.\n\n\n\nPlease join us for our Grand Opening Celebration on Thursday\, October 16 from 5-8 p.m. We can't wait to welcome you to our new space and share Rose's work with you!
