DESCRIPTION:Kick off the new year with creativity and connection at our January Business After Hours on Thursday\, January 8\, from 5 7 p.m. at Portsmouth Music and Arts Center (PMAC) in the West End.\n\n\n\nJoin fellow Chamber members for an inspiring evening of music\, art\, and community featuring live jazz by PMAC faculty\, a hands-on art activity with teaching artist Anna Nuttall\, and plenty of time to mingle over lite bites and libations. Hosted by PMAC in partnership with Partners Bank\, and sponsored by Bank of New Hampshire\, this relaxed after-hours gathering is the perfect way to reconnect\, recharge\, and start the year on a creative note.\n\n\n\nAbout PMAC:\n\n\n\nPortsmouth Music and Arts Center or as we say it\, P-MAC builds community through the arts. Founded in 2002 on the belief that the arts are essential to the human experience\, we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit community music and arts center that provides high-quality music and visual arts education programs for ages 4 to adult.\n\n\n\n\n\nEducation and engagement are at the core of what we do. At PMAC\, you can participate in private music and art lessons\, music ensembles\, group art classes\, summer camps\, art exhibitions in the Haas Family Gallery\, and free concerts and events each year. We also offer ensemble\, performance\, and exhibition opportunities for students\, professionals\, and audiences.\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Event:\n\n\n\nFor January's After Hours Event\, PMAC and Partners Bank will provide an evening of music\, art and community in Portsmouth's West End! Enjoy live jazz provided by the PMAC faculty\, and participate in an art project led by teaching artist Anna Nuttall.
