The opening reception begins at 8:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 1 p.m. \n\n \n\nThe hearing will be held both in person at UNH Law School in Concord and online via webinar. The event is open to the public.\n\n\n\nAccording to state law\, the Insurance Commissioner "shall hold an annual public hearing concerning premium rates in the health insurance market and the factors\, including health care costs and cost trends that have contributed to rate increases during the prior year." This year's public hearing is based on 2022 data.\n\n\n\nAt the conclusion of its report on premium rates and health care cost drivers\, the NHID will host a symposium exploring the potential impact of health care price transparency in the New Hampshire and nationally.
